Proven Medical Care
I started years ago to collect and link medical studies to my vet software program that support the treatments I give and the diagnosis I make. I wanted to show my clients that the care I give has been proven to work, is safe enough and show them what the care was going to cost. Those studies I collected would then be printed on the clients bill for them to read at home. I have been printing out studies for clients to read when they get home for years. When one client's bill of studies got to 12 pages long I realized that this method needed improvement. :) So now I email the patients medical chart to the client after every visit. Emailing the entire pets medical chart just takes me a few seconds of mouse clicks on my computer. Rather than having the client take home 12 pages of studies on their bill I now put a web page link to the study done automatically in the pets chart when I enter a treatment or make a diagnosis in the medical record. The webpage link is to my forum webpage on my website ebvet.com

Since it is my webpage it cannot be removed by someone else. I also provide a no personal attack forum on the webpage for everyone that wants to comment on the study. That way the public can peer review the studies I use to promote the care I give. Right now a lot of the studies on the forum are studies that do not support some of the care now sold in Vet Medicine such as homeopathic vaccinations or serial revaccination of adult dogs and cats with USDA approved vaccines. A lot of the controversial stuff that occurs in vet medicine is because we have no FDA to regulate these type of treatments in dogs and cats like the MDs do in human medicine. Emailing my clients their pets medical records with webpage links to my website forum is the best way I know to show when medical care has or has not been proven to work, the safety and the cost of medical care.
